Dentist bonus in the 2020 Budget Law: the M5S proposal

Dentist bonus of 500 euros per year for the dental expenses of taxpayers with low ISEE. The proposal comes from the M5S, with an amendment to the text of the 2020 Budget Law.

Among the many amendments proposed in the 2020 Budget Law, there is also a bonus for dental care .

The proposal is from the 5 Star Movement and provides for a contribution of 500 euros per year for dental care, to be allocated to taxpayers with an income equal to or less than 25,000 euros.

According to the proposal of the M5S, the weaker groups of the population would benefit from the dentist bonus from next year, therefore minors, single-income families with children, large families and the elderly.

But the news of the amendment to the 2020 Budget Law, which bears the signature of the pentastellated Senator Giovanni Endrizzi, does not end there: if approved, from 2022 only professionals enrolled in the register will be able to open dental practices .

Dentist bonus in the 2020 Budget Law? The proposal of the M5S

Among the thousands of amendments presented to the text of the 2020 Budget Law there is also the proposal of Senator Giovanni Endrizzi, of the 5 Star Movement.

As mentioned above, the goal is to introduce an annual bonus of 500 euros for dental care to be allocated to the weakest sections of the population.

However , the dentist bonus would only go to taxpayers with an ISEE equal to or less than 25,000 euros .

All the operational details will arrive only after the possible approval of the amendment which, given the scarcity of resources available to the Government, does not necessarily find space in the 2020 Budget Law.

The only certain thing is that dental care is among the most expensive to bear. The introduction of a specific bonus would make dental care no longer a luxury for only a few.

This is the first goal to be achieved, that is to enlarge the audience of taxpayers who can afford to take care of their teeth.

The dentist bonus would therefore go to the weakest categories of the population , such as large families, single-income ones with children, the elderly and particular attention would be paid to minors.
